Tips For Buying Your Bows

This is quite a daunting task to get the correct bow for your son or daughter starting archery even yourself.
Here are a couple of things to consider before even choosing the bow you want.

First off, what kind of archery is it going to be? Recurve archery or Compound Archery?
Is it just for fun, to compete in tournaments or hunting?

If you are going to be competing in Cape Town Archery tournaments you need to decide which competitions and class you will compete in. As every competition have their rules for the specific events and classes.
For instance if you going to take part in the National Archery Schools Program then you will need the equipment specified in their rules and regulations.
Indoor or 3D tournaments have their own rules and regulations and you’ll need to comply with their rules.

My advice would be to contact Western Cape Archery.
We can help you figure out what is needed for your child to get started in the archery field.
